Who's up for Moab? The Southwest Chapter is hosting a Moab Utah run April 28-May 3, 2004. I've rented a 4 bedroom house in Moab to serve as a gathering spot for the trail runs. We have two rooms that are open in the house (house rents for $160 per night 4 ways about $40.00 per night each room). After the house fills up we have a couple of choices of hotels that will give us club rates (40-55 per night)
Lewis Jones (AJC member will be our host) Lewis lives in Moab and will be our trail guide.
I will be posting information on the home page of the AJC web site with all the phone members for reservations, dates, runs, Moab web sites, other things to do in Moab and contract numbers.

For planning purposes, lets get a head count on who's going

I'm in, can I park the motorhome in front of the house, I'll pay. Unless everyone (who can't fit in the house) camps nearby, I'll go there. This sounds like what I've wanted to do for a while.

Noooo!
Any other weekend of the Spring would be great, except that one! Am I to assume those dates are set in stone? I would love to go, but I'm committed elsewhere that week. If there is any date flexibility, or there are others who need to make it another weekend, please let me know.

Thanks.

Would like to say that We'll be there but I will need to check back.
Too early in the morning to be thinking clearly.

Jerry, we are trying to fill the house up but camping works too. When I post the information on the clubs main page, I will include camping information.

Tom, Lewis says there is lots of room around the house for parking tow vehicles and making repairs (I plan on bringing my small Lincoln wire feed welder for more permeate fixes if needed)
Lots of room to park your house on wheels at the house

Paul, unfortunately we had to just pick a date far enough out and go with it for planning purposes. We wanted to try and miss all the large crowds (Easter Safari) and not so late in the year where the temperatures would be a factor

Sweet!!

The dates coincide with a trip being planned by a Bronco club(flew out and rode shotgun with a buddy last year). I may just need to get my act together...

I'm new in the Jeepster scene, but I graduated from high school in Moab. I've been looking for a chance to go on those trails. I have some work to do on my 68,1/2 cab but will try to be there.Dan

I would love to say count me in but as always I can't plan as far as next week let alone the spring. I sure will be there if i can. Not too certain either of the Commando's will be all that trail ready but maybe I can piggy back.

I'm in Vegas. I've seen a realy nice yellow one down her too. Mine is red/white.Not that nice yet, looks wise anyway. It did, however pull my son-in-laws new Dogde 1500, 4wd, out of a sand bog. He hasn't lived that one down yet and yes I spelled Dogde the way I meant to.
