Whose up for some good ol' washington beef? I am! I lived in the area where this 'madcow' was. I also lived 9 miles from the Washington beef slaughter/processing plant...
I wouldn't worry, they say it was slaughtered earlier this month so I'm sure someone has ate it by now. I'm not sure how much beef comes out of washington, but I know its ALOT! We got more cows there than I've seen in any state I've gone... which is like 14 states. I figured Texas had alot of cows, and particulary "TEXAS LONG HORN" But I drove across the whole damn state and didn't see ONE COW!

Oh yes indeed, the media makes everything sound way worse. For example this little Flu going around. I never have had a flu shot or known anyone to get one, I think its unnessicary... Unless its Ebola lol
But all the media is doing is [bleep] up the economy in my valley! And its f'ed up enough! The whole economy in that part of washington agriculture.

I'm with you on that one. I live in Kansas and the cattle market here is huge. It used to be the main "cattle highway" from Texas. I know a ton of people that are directly effected by the cattle prices tanking...

This will counteract the recent spike in beef prices though . The person this really hurts is the racnchers .

One thing that really sux is that lots of countries have already banned US beef.

I say F-em. We just lifted the steel tariff. If they won't buy our crap, then put the tariff back on........we don't need theirs.
