Got back after 7 hrs on the road and 24 quarts of transmission fluid (blew out the front seal of my truck).Richard Olive stayed with me on the way home. Was like a mini Bullnose parade with one of the tow trucks on fire.lol
Anyway, I got to meet some of the most wonderful people this weekend.Had a great time and will be going back next year.
Had fuel problems with my rig.It would take me to breakfast but not to the trails.Maybe it just didn't want to get dirty.Better luck next time eh?Rich-John-Duane Thanx

Hey all I can finally post things on the BBS. Wyatt and I made it back in about 4 1/2 hrs. had a 1 hr stop over in Greenville, that lean condition under heavy load, loaded, finally developed into lean at all times, no power to climb rolling hills with BIGG ASS truck on my bumper. so we pulled over and took fuel filters out and found lots of dirt in the pre filter to fuel pump, cleaned and readdy to go. we made good time and 65 mph and 22 mpg with the head wind from hell, thanks to all this weekend for the good times had by me and my mini jeeper-Wyatt. I will post things now that I can sign on, thanks again, Aaron

Glad to hear everyone made it back safely. Tell Wyatt he'll have some "trail buddies" next year, my son can't wait. He made a stack of those coupons I told you about. Maybe I'll let him do the bodywork and try to bump Toad from the "ugly" bracket!
Ditto on the awesome Jeepster!

When the Pine Log Commando makes it anywhere it is a victory. I enjoyed meeting all you nice folks. It was like stepping back in time to see shiny restored rigs. It was also nice to see the Toad and Rocrawler doing what Jeeps were designed to do-conquer the trail.
I would like to thank again Richard(and Deana),John and Duane for putting this together. I wondered if the Clayton Police would get us for Parade-without-a-permit on Saturday, but then I saw the smiles on their faces and knew we were OK. Thanks again and we'll see you guys next time.
