Okay, I finally got around to pulling the check valve out of my master cylinder for the disc brake conversion, but I can't find it. I have the master cylinder apart and there's no rubber valve, ball or anything in, around or under the outlet for the front brakes. I didn't actually pull the seat as suggested in a prior post, but I can see right through it and can poke a rod through it with no obstruction. My guess is that I don't have a check valve to remove (no wonder my drums never worked right) but thought I'd check with you guys first. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like the rebuilder dodn't put it in last time. Typical.
