My service manual specs are 105 ft-lbs for my stock steel wheels. With my alumin wheels should I touqe them to 105 or should I tourqe them to the specs for 91 and later trucks witch is 120. I think they have the aluminum wheels. Im havent been sure since I went to alumin, so I was wonderin what everyone else opions on this are.

Thanks

I tighten my lugs to 100 ft-lb with aluminum wheels on my `96 ZR2. If you go much tighter, you might have problems swapping on a spare if you get a flat, using the lug wrench GM provides which is almost better suited for a child's toolbox.

Give it all you've got to tighten it and then she won't spin of down the road. And as for the stock lug wrench...well.....he who carries no 4-way, will travel no more that day. Dan those srock wrenches..they are about as useful as a lift kit in a camaro.
