·i'm totally new to 4WD (but i've been working on cars for a long time). i'm looking for a truck i can use if/when i go to grad school on east coast. offroad capability will be ok but not primary intention. i'd like for it to handle snow and have a heater
i'm not afraid to get my hands dirty but reliability is a big plus. it has to be a 5 speed (hate auto), the longer the bed the better. i have about $2000 to spend but until september to finish building it (which is where all the fun is).
i'm looking into toyota first but i'm open to suggestions.
TIA
