I am gonna guess it is a diff cover for a dual rear axle setup.

My guess was a decorative candle holder, but I can see how you might think its a candy tray. Hmmm, now I'm puzzled.

NV4500 to D300 t case. I just remembered that Taz bought NV4500 a month or so back.

looks quite akin to my NV4500 to Atlas (or 300) adapter....which is aluminum but priced like it was gold. AA?

 

I didn't mean for this to be a quiz, but you're having so much fun with it I won't ruin it. It is NOT aftermarket, it is an OEM part, but it is rare.

That carpet is in my project manager's office, it's his digital camera that I used. There are conveyor parts laying on it just out of frame, the conveyor parts are cadium plated though.

Looks to me to be the OEM Dodge tailhousing for an 4X4 NV4500. With that stuck on a GM version (probably need a new output shaft or something like that too) you have a Dana 300 ready NV4500. Also works ok with a NP231, but the engagement of the two are less than with the AA adaper tailhousing.

Yeah, but don't the "blinker fluid pressure release valve housings" look the same as your headlight reservoirs?

It could be the retaining bracket for the "velocity extension belt" that controls the manifold stretcher????
I'm just baffled.

 

A muffler bearing housing with, I might add, the rare(hard to find) Phramastat valve adapter. A lot of people confuse the Phramastat valve with the sphincter valve.
