Lockers??

Is there anyone building a air locker or posi for VW???
wan't more traction!Manx!

i have seen turning brakes for them. you can use them to apply brakes to the spinning wheel so the torque is sent to the wheel with traction. i have seen two types. one is plumbed into your brake lines and works hydralically and the other replaces your parking brake, giving you two handles that operate the brake cables independantly. i think i have heard of an lsd though.

Well my nieghbor was once heavy into Bugs and is a strong believer in the turning brakes,says they get you out'a trouble and are lotta fun.
Though he recommends beefing up the diff's first for longer life if you plan on doing it alot.
If there was a posi for swing axles I bet they'd be big sellers.

Thanx guys this is an on road buggy aswell skid steer is not a good option for this application!!I have emailed the lock right guys c what they come up with!Curently have a beef-a-diff thats all.

I'm not going to do the skid steer for same reason(so far anyhoo)

So far so good no problemsIts only got 20000 miles on it since I built it!Built it in 76 from a 71 bug!it had 43000 miles on it not has 63000!low miler!
