I had a happy day. Put my NCO-bought Lock-right in the back of my '87 Sammi, and both wheels turn now. Sweet. Just curious, it clicks every time I turn. Is this normal, the multiple clicking sound I get when turning? I don't mind, just paranoid that I screwed something up.....

Does it click each time the wheels turn, or is it when one turns and the other does not (eg, you are turning left or right). or does it click when you are just driving? I'm thinking on installing a lockrite also, is it hard to do?

The clicking is perfectly normal. Welcome to the world of lockers

I remember my first locker in a 4Runner. Trying to pull into a parking stall for the first time and it was like a bucking bronco. I learned real quick you either need to be on the gas or off the gas, no in between.

I had an EZ locker and it cliked only on corners at the beggning..
I started to click more each time, and in about 8 months, it was clicking even when going straight..
I took it down, and it had worn down bad.. had to weld it up.. so wach the noise carefully...
just my experience..

As far as the install goes, it was terribly simple. It was everything else that got me. I had to put new rear wheel bearings in, and that took me like 3 hours (being juggled around the shop between several people who were helping me). But, all in all, it was a pretty sweet install, with no snags to speak of -- yet. Go to this link, and see if you think you can handle it before purchase.
