Hello,

I have a Weber installed on my 258 and do not have a fuel pressure regulator. The carb seems to be running rich (black soot on my exhaust tip), and I would like to install one. However, here in brooklyn, NY no one has any idea what I am talking about. I have done web searches and the ones i have found do not appear to be the same units everyone uses. Can someone please send a link or two for the correct unit? Thank you all in advance.

From personal experience I would stay away from the diaphragm-type regulators. I went through 3 of them before I installed a Holley Standard Pressure Regulator #510-12-804. No more regulator problems. Still have a soot/fuel consumption issue, though (and I'm running about 2psi).
