A 1996 Blazer with a 4.3L V6 engine is not a fullsize, it's a small truck. Ask on the GM Small Truck forum, the other GM forum than this one. That's the GM small truck place. They can help you better than us.

the full size 1500 (K5) blazers didn't come with 4.3l v6s....only 350s and diesels. and i'm thinking diesels didn't roll off the line past the '95 models....and i'm also wondering the last year for the 2 dr full size blazer - as i know the 2dr tahoes and yukons were produced up to and including '99.

S10 blazers come with a 2dr or 4dr....they are a small/midsize SUV.

as for lift kits, look at skyjacker, maybe BDS or RCD

Chevy dumped the Blazer name plate on the full size SUV after the 95 model year. But you arte correct the 4.3 did not come in the full size SUV`s only in the runts and in pickups.

Do what you have to, just get it up! CHEVY 4x4`s

The Blazers you refer to are the smaller ones, based on the S10/S15 series trucks. I own a 1992 Blazer, which after 1995 was known as the Tahoe. My truck weighs close to 5,000lbs, and the 4 door Tahoes weigh more than 5,000lbs. These trucks use the same frame and body parts as the Suburban and K1500/2500/3500 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton pickup trucks. Sorry, but these trucks are fullsizes.

Sandman, the 1/2 ton and bigger "SUV's"/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif never got any engines smaller than the 350 from 92 and up. The 4.3L is available in the pickups, but not the "SUV's"/wwwthreads_images/icons/mad.gif (I hate that term).
