i have an 86 cj 7 .the leaf springs are sagging on the right side i belive they are 8 in the rear and 7 up front.i have a setout of an 85 that are 4 and 5.what would the difference be by installing them.would it be lower?softer?thanks in advance

seems like the springs with 7 and 8 leaves are LIFTED aftermarket springs and the ones with 4 and 5 are stock springs. Sound right??

There was a HD spring option for CJ-7's that had more leaves in the spring packs. They gave about one inch of lift over the 4/5 leaf packs. I don't know if this is what you have or if it is just a sagged out aftermarket set. No lift and level will always look beter than a lift that sags though!
