I tried last thursday, but when i was goin through the field, i got stuck in a drift, and it took me forever to get it out, it was like to my knees, and i was ticked, so when I got it out I just went back home. I dont even know why i tried to go through that drift, just dumb I guess.

I actually rode the same day when we (NJ) got hit with 24" of snow. They plowed my street and I tried to make it down my driveway, but got stuck. My neighbor came over on his Kodiak 4x4 w/ plow and slammed his way up my driveway (took about 50 trys), plowing a path. Then we rode around on the streets all day. It was cool. My bike is registered and insured and I just drive by the cops waving to them. Too bad we can't ride on the roads all the time.

During inclement weather (like this snow storm) you can ride ATV's and Snow Mobiles on the street as long as they're registered. I'm not sure if you need the liability insurance, but for $75 a year, I figured it was worth it in case I hurt someone with my quad. NJ State Park Rangers like to jump out in front of you if you ride on state land. Otherwise, you can't ride on the street the rest of the year. In NJ, we're lucky if we get 5 snow storms a season.

I have been riding 3-4 times a week for last 2 months! A lake system 5 mins away has been frozen for a while. Nice packed snow - fast! And oh did I mention the saloons, nice place to catch a breather! I feel for you guys...

Ohio: Snow capital of the world!

Aw man, I wish I could drive my wheeler all year! But in a way it probably just makes it more exciting when I do take it out once some of the snow has melted! I havnt bin out since New Years eve. One reason being the awful amount of snow we have here in Nova Sotia, some of the banks are up to the telephone pole wires! And the second reason being that I decided to move to my University town and you cant go driving around here anywhere.... and third reason being that my casing is cracked yet again and im too involved in school to fix it, not to mention that its an hour away from me... i dont know how i manage. hahhahha

i read a paper on this one time i was itiing in the DMV for about a hour

in Ohio when registered

you can ride on some roads , like back roads

not on SR or interstates
the only problem is that most cops in ohio dont know the laws so you will still likely get towed or arrested

SO!

every time i need to ride on a road i keep in mind at least 2 exscape routes in case i meet up with the fuzz, plus i know all the cops around
