man i just can't tell everyone how bad they screwded up this past weekend. i met up with skeetshooter and wes and had a blast wheeling in the kiamichi mtns. we ran all day sat with no problems. did 3 stage, valintines, rock creek and upper power line. took off about 10 sunday morning and did timber line, some other trail that i can't remember then lost creek. went back to stage one of three stage and watched the folks tear their $hit up. then skeetshooter lost a hub. we went back to camp tore jesse[skeetshooter] zuk apart and found a very rusted hub and a cracked birfield. then jesse worked his a$$ off fixing a guys defender 90[lots of heating cutting and welding] and recived not a thank you nor a dime. but he did get his back together and ready for the next day. a little beer drinking had been going on for the last 5 or 6 hrs and jesse was in a pretty bad mood[since he was working instead of beer drinking] so we took off for a midnight trail ride[let jesse drive the land cruiser, i knew he was wanting to play in it]got him in a better mood pretty quick. until we chucked the rear drive shaft[as it started to rain and we couldnt find a flash light]. got lucky and found that it has seperated at the splines[need a traction bar bad]. oh yea if jesse says that i flopped that land cruiser on the second day out he lying because he deleted his pics by accident and no longer has proof. therefore it didn't happen. went back out sunday and did the purple headed monster and some more of power line. all in all we had a blast. can't wait to do it again. just wished i could have got some more of the folks off the board to come. later mike

I had a serious all day run yesterday.. There was this lake draining into this thing that turnes into a river, there useto be a bridge but they took it out. I had to get accross so we could meet up with some people and catch and eat fish, and becuase i had the biggest truck i was choosen to go acorsss. theres a little island there a bridge support was (ill send a drawing later), and there were some rocks there. A strap was secured on a rock, and the winch was ran on a snatch block, onto my truck, so it would pull me to the little island. I started driving in, water was getting deep, it was a few feet deep at least. ONce i got in the very fast rushing water, my truck started floating and the current was trying to pull me out. The rock on the island came loose so i got pulled out a bit moe The back of my truck was floating sortof over this big drop off and the front was on the rocks facing the deep rushing water. he kept winching trying not to let the cable get loose, But now he was winching on an angle, the current was pushing me backwards so it was going sideways LOTS, so much it just about rolled. He had to back up and realign becuase he didnt have a roller fairlead and would screw his cable, This didnt do that much, but my truck shifted around. We had to put a come along on the side so it would stay level. once he realigned he winched me back out over theese bigass rocks. To get an idea how deep the water was, i was soaked nearley up to my neck, and the water a bit up the dash in the front, the whole assend was totally under water. I got pictures and video of it too!!!

You better post those pics and find a way to digitize that video, 'cause everybody who reads it is gonna need them to believe that tale!!! Can't wait to see 'em, Anton! :).
