This is just a thought, but it be nice if us east coast guys, could band together, and buy almost all of Al's stuff, and have it shipped across country in time for the 2005 Eastern Jeepster Jam!

Now for a good laugh, it's being held at Toad's! He might not like this idea. Just kidding around a little Toad.

:All Good:

It would be nice to have all that stuff here to pick through, and find what we need, and want.

Now I'm in CA, and my Commando is in NJ. Any thoughts on how to get it here?

Image
Buy it a plane ticket

LMAO.

It's got a lot of luggage though. Too much to carry on, and or check.

I've got a spare set of doors, a liftgate... one or two fenders (I can't recall) And bunches of little parts.

i love the fc's. Are they all parsters, or are the fixable.

wonder what the shipping to vancouver BC of a jeep is?

other question, how come your clearing out your parts?

#38 ·
The green one one the far end was mine[fc 150] the rest I help a friend get. They are all fixable [170's]. Tom he ended up with your 170
Image
. Ron down at Fresno 4WD has them at his place
Image
. He is collecting them.
Image
Some dulleys and 4 speeds.
Image
The one he got from me has a SB 350 and a T400 in it. I dont think he wan'ts to sell any of them
Image
.. The one close up front, flat bed is the one that was in Redding a couple of years ago with the other one, the military 4 door I got for him. My friend that lived in Reno had it.

The 71 belongs to a customer of mine.
Image
I sold it to him and he has spent a lot of money
Image
to do all the things he could not do.
Image
He's a pilot not a mechanic.
Image
He even has a turbo 400 built up and a Atlas II all put together to go in it.
Image
He said after riding in mine he wanted a auto
Image
after putting in the SM420 all rebuilt with a 300 transfer case
Image
. Never happy, being a pilot he has become a air head
Image
I think but he's my friend so I put up with him.
Image
The cam is a Crowler the intake is a Aluminum Holly powder coated, 4 barrel with a holly 2 barrel all rebuilt for low end torque and the vent tub instaled to prevent stalling when going up steep hills. I did a lot of these in the 70's when we used to hill climb on the sand. Never stalls. It has a HEI dist and runs perfect.
Image
He has over $15,000
Image
invested and it never been off road
Image
I got it from the oridgnal owner about 4 years ago and he got it from me and had all the work done by professionals.
Image
The T400 trans and the Atlas 4.3 is worth $3000
Image
You could drive it anywhere.
Image
It gets about 16+ mpg.
Image
It has skid plates and flares

The front is a 30 mdl, 1984 or newer wide track CJ with disk's.
Image
The back is the stock flange 44 I think it has track loc He has something wide track ordered for the rear???
Image
It is a real clean jeepster never any rust that I know of or dents. 33" tires 373 rato custom TJ flares and skid rails done by the body shop,
Image
custom bucket seats and dual pipes.
Image
Just a paint job would make this a show winner
Image
that would go anywhere you wanted to.
Image
It could be bought without the auto trans. and Atlas.
Image
Make a offer and see what he says.
Image
Image
Image
when I put the cam in 4 years ago the motor checked out perfect I think he has only put 5,000 miles in 4 years on it. He lives close to me in clovis and work's for the airline in Reno. Flys back and forth. What a waste
