Before '72 the only Jeep Commando was the Jeepster Commando. After '72, there was only the Commando, no Jeepster.

True (8701,8702) convertibles were Jeepsters and not Jeepster Commando's. The name "Jeepster Commando" was given to the open roadster, wagon & 1/2 cabs til AMC came along; then "Jeepster" part was dropped and they were "Jeep Commando's" and of course by then the ' verts were gone.

with Jeepster/Commando on both sides of the hood.

And my original 70 (hence my screen name) which has a little less than 11,500 miles is also a Jeepster Commando. Sorry to upstage you with the lower mileage Lonewolf. Just trying to rub it in!!!
