Jeep didn\'t make it but my family did...

We were heading down to Charlotte on Saturday to a motorcycle show. The weatherman said we had missed all the bad weather as it went north of us. I looked at my wife and said ROAD TRIP!! She smiled and said let's do it. About an hour later we hit a patch of ice was broad sided and spent the rest of the day at Moses Cone Hospital. I was driving and it was a miracle I am even here today. I had to be cut from the car and my left shoe pried from the floorboard. I've attached some pictures of our miracle. Also there were only minor injuries. All were blesses. On minute I had control and the next I didn't.

Amazingly enough I still have my legs! I am about 6'3" and was really packed in there yesterday. I really wasn't aware just how are my vehicle got hit until I saw it in person today.
Hey Kerryp what part of Texas are you from. I am a transplanted Texan here in Burlington. I just moved up here from Austin about a year and a half ago. If someone would be kind enoug to remind me how to post the pictures in the message I'd post a few more.

Glad you and the family are OK. That was an act of God. I love my Jeep and all but something like that shows you what is really important. Forget the jeep. You saved what counts.

That you all came out OK.

Amazingly enough I am not cut up at all. Not cuts all, my legs and feet came through it virtually unscathed! It dawned on my wife Sunday how thankful she was to be trying to figure out what to fix me for luch versus what to bury me in. I did thank God for watching over me and continue to every time I see the pictures.
