It\'s finally done...SOA and D44\'s!!!

Well much thanks to everyone on this board. Haven't had much time to post lately so I haven't really been around but I wanted to let everyone know that my project is finally done. Here is what I now have....

Rear Scout II Dana 44 4.10 gears and detroit EZ locker
Front Dana 44 from a 86 FSJ with 4.10 gears
Advance Adapters SYE kit for NP231
Spring Over Axle(SOA) suspension with 2.5" Pro Comp Springs
and I think thats it.....you can see pics at my webpage(in the signature), check it out and let me know what you think. I will have write ups on how everything went sometime next week.

Re: It\'s finally done...SOA and D44\'s!!!

now thats a YJ that LOOKS GREAT, and has some ground clearance.
dual "Dana 44's" almost sounds as cool as they look,
looks like you did a great job.

you said you still have to weld the pearches,
so what's the angle your going to set your front pinion at? i'm really just curious about your "caster" degree. (for my own reference)

Looks like you did a fantastic job on your Jeep. Definitely time well spent!
If all goes well, I will be finishing up my SOA conversion this weekend as well. Instead of leaf springs in the front however, I decided to convert to a set of coil springs. Sounds good in theory, so we'll see how it all turns out! Later.

3/4TonYJ - Actually not sure exactly what the caster is, 6.5 degrees I think, kind of weird but the way I set it up it should automatically be the same as stock. I have pics to show what I did, they will be on my webpage in about a week.

CJscan - I want to see the coils!!!!

YJ94 - those flares I have on there are 6" extended Steel horse and they are junk!! if you notice the rear passenger one is gone? Yeah it ripped off on the highway...just ripped off!!! And the front two are SEVERELY cracked. Spend the mula and get Xenon OR Terflares for a TJ and adapt them to your YJ(that is what I am hopin to do!!)
