Can someone please tell me if this is a pic of a thermal or non-thermal fan clutch. My guess is it is thermal since there appears to be a bi-metallic spring on it.

Thanks,

Dirt Dog, yeah I got a thermal one to replace it and compared them before installing.

Why do my pics not show up after the first time they are viewed?(even for me, I can't see my sig pic or the pic of the fan clutch I posted). What uploader do you guys use for pics around here?

Can you take a look at my thread(link below) and give me your opinion on what is acting up and what to check please?

I think if it's a displayed image "inline"(?) ..the image must reside on a server somewhere

like this one (maybe)

If you see this jeep ..it's because it's on a web page and I can "point" to its location. I can't do that with a simple image file ..which I have to attach.

online image hosting

Yeah, I'm an avid member on my 300ZX site, I have like 5000+ posts. I'm familiar with having to host the image somewhere.

I have them hosted at Photoisland so they are on a server, which is why I do not understand why they don't show.

Our 300ZX board does not use the generic UBB setup so I'm not very good with it, that's why I was asking if I am doing something wrong.

I cut the text exactly from the FAQ on inserting pics and replaced the image part with the location of my pic. I can see it fine in preview, and fine the first time I view the thread, but if I open the thread again I can no longer see the pics.

And yes, my pics are still hosted at Photoisland, I've gone and looked several times to make sure.

Perhaps it is Photoisland itself, where do you guys host your images at?
