Ok so byte me, I've got the "rice" bug. I love my samurai, I'd just like another street "pimp" "cruser".

I'd presume 4x4 would not be an option.
Engine options would probably be a 3 cylinder chev sprint TURBO system.
I dunno..
Just curious.

Take a look at Truckin or Street Truck mags and you'll see what's possible. Actually this isn't very low, the rockers aren't on the ground. With an IFS and airbags why not? The air lets it raise up to drive. Bodydrop and choptop all the rage. It's done all the time with trucks. There's an airbagged S10 sitting beside my garage (son's truck) that's this low...totally useless. Guess what? Nobody will buy it now.

I've been wondering why nobody is trying airsprings on a Zuk??

howdy,
Wow 4.3L...wait a minute...if we are going to this much of work, lets throw a 286 in it, or at least a 305 with 351 heads, mated to a turbo 350, and you had it right with the ford 9". then tub the whole rear bed out, narrow the diffie, coils while a 4-link, then some 16x14 with a modest back spacing. then we have to talk cowl hood and some spray, cuase with the top chopped like that...you could not see anything to the right with a blower. the whole front frame would have to go. pinto or mustang 2 front clip, narrow of course...you dont what a street machine with front leafs, and it has to match the rear coils. but then we just have to talk about seats, now i run 90 mustang seat, so they have to go in there. then rip out all the gauges and replace with autometer vintage. we need a billet tilt steer column, hurst slap-o-matic, and a nice but roomy cage. not to mention some fine tunes, but that could wait.

so do you think it is feasible?

Impossible..no! but I noticed a lot of things that would call for custom fabrication.
Ok first your dumping your suspension so low that custom front end adjustments or swaps or movement of the engine would be needed ( axle will hit oil pan!). And you guys are talking about V8s! lol
You couldnt turn without taking a chunk out of your fender flares unless you turned the camber of the tire up so much that your tires would ride like this /--\ lol ( on a straight axle that would be a b$tch!) you would also have NO turnning radius

To get the axle droped to that extend would take custom bending ( raising basically) of the frame on the front and back cause eventually you would just hit straight frame ( good bumpstop I guess lol all 1 inch of traveling suspension lol)
ok ok I have ragged on it enough, guess Iw as just bored outta my mind, but it really does look kind of sweet like that, maybe cause its hot rodish?
