Well I want to convert my TTB on my 81 F150 to a Solid Axle. I am just thinking it might be easirer to run a Solid Front Axle. I know I will give up a little flex if I go with Leaf springs instead of staying with the coils. Now I could go Solid and run coils also. But whats easier to do?

Thanks

SFA isa geat way to go, but you had better be willing to cut and weld the new system. I havent wrenched seriously on a TTB front end for a bout a decade or so. the SFA i simple, easy to fix, easy to make, but you will have som work ithink. the ford board is quite active so i'll bet if you ru na fw searches i think you'll find it

missing links are GAY and retarded. they are a bandaid for extra flex on a poor working system, and have no wieght on the tire. waste of time, design, and $$

i said missing links, not chrome leaf springs... chill out!

i've never seen them in action, but the zook guys seem to treasure them like gold so i figured they were a nice cheap way to gain some flex... maybe not, oh green one?
