I think I've seen that commercial, I just don't remember it all that well.
I do remember thinking.... "That's a pretty good idea", but questioned
(like you do) the overall strength of the tool. What guarantees does it
come with? It would be good to get a report back from you say.....
in a month or so and let us know what you think of the tool and how
often you actually use it (if at all), either because it doesn't perform
like you expected or out of habit of digging thru the toolbox for the right
size socket/wrench.
Whether you use it or not in the long run, I think you should consider
yourself lucky to have a jeepchick that thinks enough about you to think
of something that she feels you can use/like, take the time to order the
darn thing, pay for it, wrap it up and leave it as a gift "Just because".
Just for that alone, I would hang the thing up in the garage and build
a shrine out of it /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif.
