2 door sports cars have higher rates that trucks....plus the car is 8 years newer. what'll keep the rates on the higher side for the truck is the fact that its older, in turn heavier and more solid than newer cars/trucks.

probably not much. since the camaro is only a v6, its not considered a "sports car". the only reason it would be more is if it was worth more. a 96 v6 camaro is worth about $8k where as the truck is worth about $4000. like shorts said, best way is just call your insurance and ask
EDIT -- also, i assume youre talking about full coverage. if the truck is a 4x4, insurance is higher. and if the camaro is red, insurance is higher (no kidding about that!)
