\"In Shackles\"

Besides being in "shackles" with the wife....over every jeep expenditure. Im trying to figure out what to do with my 75 CJ shackles. I replaced the rear shackles with heavy duty 1.5" longer shackles to try to level out my jeep. I still have the stock shackles on the front.

Does anyone make a good heavy duty H shackle (with no increase in height) that I could replace the front stock ones? I dont really want to raise the rear end any further.

I suppose I could fabricate my own...they look simple enough?????

That which does not kill me only makes me stronger (or dumber).

When I was looking for HD shackles with no or just a little lift height the smallest I could find still gave 3/8" of lift (MORE Offroad).
IMO...fabricate your own unless you want greasable ones. Even then you can still get just the greasable bolts....

I bought the Currie tow shackles for the front, but they also give 3/8" lift. I made the rear shackles to level up the jeep front to back. It was easy and took very little time.
