I\'m lowering the Blazer!!!!!

Well, sorta. Back down to stock height at least. Goes in Monday to Off Road Motorsports in Cutlerville, MI to have the POS 2-3" lift taken off, stock upper control arms (thanks to JaxZ71) and passenger side diff bracket put on, 4 new ball joints, all new Moog steering components, and a bracket he makes so I can run the 3 bolt Moog idler arm./wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif

Can you tell I'm excited? I'll finally be able to drive the thing straight down the road. YEAH!!!/wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif

Now I gotta make my mind up on what I want to do to this junk Rancho lift. Dynamite? AK-47 rounds? Plasma torch? Put it in a box and send it back to Rancho and tell them to take their sh#t back? The possibilities are endless......./wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif................

Re: I\'m lowering the Blazer!!!!!

Send it back to rancho with a note telling them how much is sucked and that you will tell everone you know including everyone on the bbs that it sucks. Maybe if your luck they will refund some of your money to not tell everyone that it sucks. Worth a try aint it?

Re: I\'m lowering the Blazer!!!!!

I think I just might do that.

Look at any post about 2-3" lifts for IFS trucks. You'll see me VIGOROUSLY telling people to skip the Rancho lift.

I doubt I'll get anything for it, but I do still have the receipt for it, so who knows? Just a letter of apology or something would be nice. If I'd have researched it first I'd have found other people who hate this lift and had problems with it, and never purchased it in the first place. I'd send it back to 4Wheel Parts, but they'd just "never receive it"./wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif

Re: I\'m lowering the Blazer!!!!!

Just a tip but you might want to go to Carquest and pick up all the Moog parts yourself. They are dirt cheap there and you get their lifetime warranty thru carquest. I doubt the shop will touch their prices or their warranty. I now I just checked prices for my yukon, and I wished I would have done it before my shop replaced all those parts. Next time I will go to Carquest.

Re: I\'m lowering the Blazer!!!!!

why dont I want the drop brckets for the dif, they would put me back to about stock with the CV angles and then I could slot the upper arms and maybe get another inch of the susp.

hmmm that might not be a good thing

Re: I\'m lowering the Blazer!!!!!

I dunno, you might want to post about it on the forum and ask. I don't think it will work. Of course, I've had 2 years of this kit driving me insane, so I HATE IT!!!!! If it was possible to damn an inanimate object to hell, I'd do it./wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/mad.gif
