if u have a tranny with a granny low gear would that eliminate the reason to want a twin stick? with a twin stick do u have an option that allows u to drive in only front wheel drive? TIA

Twinstick and granny are independent... Where a T-stick really shines is when you are locked up front.... It allows you to run in 2W LO range until you need 4W LO... reduces stress on the front end when turning, etc.

Generally, yes, you can run on the front with a T-stick setup...

Is it a necessity, no. Is it nice to have, yes.
