Hey everyone, yes im a sammy guy... but realistically a truck fits my needs, i would still like something i could get some 31s on at least.. Possible with an MJ? dont want one of those toyotas... rip too many apart in the samurai.. as long as horse power is not needed.. And what years of the mj are the best? And are they going to be around long enough for aftermarket accessories? Thanks, Cody.

Dude I have a 86 MJ the first year made and it has it's jeep thing but way to many different parts from to many different people. THe MJ kicks ass alot of XJ guys look for MJ parts to upgrade with. look for a model after 86 so you can get a 4.0 man you will love these trucks!!!! look thru the past posts and look for mj pick.. great trucks.. good luck on your hunt

OK, so what you want to look for is the Comanche Chief of the Eliminator. They are all decked out with the best stuff. SporTrucks were the base models, and Laredo packages offered some nice options.
Looking for power? Same as the XJ, go for '91 or 92 (the only ywo years with the HO 4.0 engine). Unfortunately, I've only found these in longbed -- which might be your thing, but I'm all about the shortbeds. I'd say the '87-90 should be sufficient, as well.

You might be able to find a choice of buckets or bench. I've got a bench that looks like brand new. The buckets I've seen aren't as withstanding, but might be more fun.

I could go on, but I'll just say find a good one, without rust (huge problem), and a young engine. You probably won't regret it.

Andy i wanted to let you know that there is a set of FACTORY XJ foglights brand spankin new up on ebay right now. I forgot the auction # but search for cherokee fog that should be sufficent. their at $50, which is better than most.
