Was it actualy off-road??? Or was it on a shoulder of a road. Mabee on a dirt covered blacktop road???? Can't really see (believe) one off-road. Cept for that one in Dakar... But it was so modified I don't think it really was a Kia any more..

J.D. Powers ranked Kia, the best overall in customer satisfaction. It was in Road & Track magazine.

It's also been a class 3 winner in the SCORE desert racing series for several years now...

It's a tough little racer!!! They just get mad at me when I yell "KIA!" in a really high-pitched voice...

They had another Kia in Peterson's Magazine this month I think. It showed it in the great off road race known to Europeans, the Paris Dakar rally!!

We had a KIA in my old stereo shop I used to work at. It was customers car , and we got her stuck in the back lot of the shop. I live in L.A. so when i say taking it 4x4'ing i mean construction lots. We had to pull it out wash it and the customer never knew. So the moral of this story is don't take a stock KIA anywhere remotely of the paved highway. Im old enough to remember when toyota 4x4 were realitivly new and most people hated them ...how times change...how about giving those little buzz-bombs a chance..
Like anything with some mods they may make 1 hell of a little off-roader, after all howmany interstates are in Korea bet they have a lot of places that need something like a KIA and if they do good there ...
And becides it like comparing apples and oranges ..they dont look like a Jeep and and sure dont handel like one ... they are a little family vehicle and might just be the ticket on the trails ...time will tell
Someone needs to stick up for them...lol

Anybody know the page # and month any one ever see one of these offroad or with a lift. I'm wondering if jeep will have to start advetising that they are better than kia's (that will be the day, yeah righ kia fans)
