I've done that with a '69 Chevelle SS396. Squashed two jackstands and punched a hole in the gas tank too!

I'm glad nobody was injured. Did you tear anything up?

 

Only thing damaged was the the tracker gas tank i had removed, it's a couple gallons smaller

Luckily the sammi tank that was next to it survived.

 

Are the tracker tanks larger than a samurais? And do they bolt up the same?

 

They are a couple gallons bigger. They dont bolt in but you can modify the mounts fairly easy to bolt it in. They do have in-tank high pressure fuel pumps though, so unless you had EFI you would need to take care of that.
