Well, first off....its in Ontario. Canada is only 5000 miles wide/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif. Anyway, if you can tell me where you will be crossing in NewYork it will help me out alot. If you want to cross at Buffalo/Niagra Falls or the other end of Lake Ontario. Once you tell me where you will cross the boarder I can give you detailed directions.

Have you ever heard of Mosport Race Track?
It is just north of Bowmanville Ont. The pit is about 10 minutes from the track.
When are you going to be going?

Matt- Maybe sometime you and I are going to have to go out there and do some 4x4ing. My cousin and his friends are also intreasted in going and they have there Sami's which will do pretty good in most of the places there. Not sure if I want to take the Yukon out there but on the mild stuff it should be ok. My friend that also lives in BlackStock will go out....all depending where he is(he is a Pro-bull rider so he is all over the country in the summer)

Ok, here they are if you are going to cross at the Falls. Cross the bridge and look for signs for the QEW. Take that east towards Toronto(the QEW fallows Lake Ontario the whole way to TO) Ok, so before you get City of Toronto you have to turn onto the 427 and go north towards the 401. Once you get to the 401 you have to head east and fallow that(about 1 hour) untill you get to Bowmanville. Then you have to turn off the 401 onto highway 57 and go north. Stay on 57 untill you get the town of BlackStock. Now I am not sure of the road names to get exactly there but it is just about 5 minutes South East of Blackstock so if you were to just drive that direction you will find it no problem!!!! you can see it for miles from most places in the area(its HUGE)

Good luck....anymore questions just ask...Ryan

I think it would be much easier to find if you got off the 401 in Oshawa(It is before Bowmanville). Get off the 401 at the Harmony Rd interchange and go north. Take Harmony rd. untill you get to Tauton Rd(will take about 10 minutes) turn right at the lights(east). Take Tauton rd. to Durham RD 57 like Ryan said and turn left(north), this will take about 10 minutes and there is also a light there. Go north untill you see a sign that says Mosport Race Track, turn right at that road(I am pretty sure the Road is called Mosport RD- Durham Rd 20). Go east you will eventually pass Mosports race track on your right and then you will drive through a big s-bend in the road then you will will want to turn left on a road called Murphy Rd(it is a dirt road). Follow this road untill the end. You will get to a clearing surrounded by trees. You will have to make a slight left and then go straight and follow the trail.
To get to the big mud pit keep follow the trail past the big sand hills untill you get to mud pit by the hydro lines.
Sunday is the busiest time for this pit.
Good luck.

Ryan that is a good idea, we should meet up there sometime.

Thanks for posting Zooman, I have only been there once and it was just because it was raining like a b$tch and we didn't feel like deer hunting in the rain so we went 4x4ing. We can in the trail right by the pits (I have no idea about the road names but I know it was only a little drive from my buddys place in BlackStock.

No problem Ryan. I drive by there all the time.
I actually drove by there yesterday. I noticed that some of the roads that I have said are durham rd. are actually called Regional Rd. Just thought I would add that.
I saw a few trucks that must have been there and there seems to still be alot of mud there.

place in Canada(now has some pics!!!!)

Well, I was there on Saturday and only had time to test out the new MT's on some of the sand hills but I snapped a few pics of the area. The first is the giant sand hills (all those trails are Jeep size and most full size rigs and manage to get up them) The second pic is of the one mudbog trail. To the Right is the deep side!!!! and to the left it's not quite as deep but would give most semi-mod trucks problem. All I can say is the place is just great and fun for everyone...Miles and miles of trails especially if you have a quad or a dirt bike.
