I am looking for a dirt bike but don't know exactly what I should get. I am 17 years old and I am 5'9" and 140 pounds. I know how to ride and I am looking for a used bike that costs around $2500. I am looking at a 2004-2006 model of either a Honda CRF250R or a KX250F. Are either of those good bikes for me or should i look for something else?

In my opinion if you are not looking to race etc... You should look at an XR 200R. They are very reliable, 6 speed, and cheap. They are everywhere for about $1,400. Still a pretty fast fun bike, I had a ton of fun on my dad's '97. SuperTrapp pipe, UNI filter, and a 52 tooth rear sproket.
