1. Does anybody know of a cheap place to get a Chiltons manual for my 2000 XJ? ( I have a bad sensor, and before I start ripping all the electrical out...)
2. Can I put 265/75/15's on, ( using the stock 225/75/r15s currently), WITHOUT lifting? (still have warranty)
Thanx in advance.

Pep Boys carries the Haynes manual for about $13; the book # is 50010.

The 265/75/15 won't fit without a lift. Good Luck!!

Any local parts store should have a chiltons for under 15 bucks, Don't know for sure on the tires but try it and let us know, LOL, just kidding (be a helluva expensive experiment if it didn't work), Now a question for you, when you gonna put up a pic of your rig and yourself? I kinda collect pics of everyone who posts on here, makes a nice screen saver file.

what you could do is go into a tire store and tell them to put them on. They will tell you when they pull it down if they think it rubs. If you think it rubs when you get in then just ask them to put on a smaller size. Make sure you figure it out before you drive out of the parking lot.... still in their vision. The tire shop I went to had no problem changing the size for me. They put 31's on for me and it rubbed too bad so they put on 30's.

What I do is hook you up with a link to a free screen saver program, then e-mail you the file I have. Can't be hotmail though because the file is like 3 megabite. Did it for XJKid and chieftan, both seemed to like it just fine. Just let me know an e-mail addy and I'll send the file, here is the link to the free screen saver program http://www.bottin.com/gpshow.htm. BTW the file is a zip program so you'll need a means to extract it. If you need a link to a site with a free zipp program let me know and I'll post one.

My mistake, the file is 3707k or almost 4 Megabytes. I tried sending it to you 5INCH but it keeps getting bounced back saying it exceeds hosts maximum file size of 3145728, since I have succesfully sent the same file to others, I assume the problem is on your end. Do you have a different e-mail addy. that accepts larger files? If so, post and I'll send ASAP.

Almost 4 meg? is it a longer number? it's hard to describe. bytes and bits are different sizes and for some reason computer makers were stupid and made KB and MB run on different systems of measurement so they don't actually match up. My email measures it in KB which says 3926K but my computers downloads measures it in MB which says the above.
