Well I had the afternoon off so I finally got around to making up the brackets to bolt an old CJ sway bar on and wow what a difference. I was pretty used to the handling of the worn out stock springs setup SOA so when I took it for a ride I couldn't believe it when the hood actually stayed pretty level in the corners, it used to corner like a boat. I still have to make up some quick disconnect end links for off road but am very happy with it so far. Everything is much tighter and smoother which is very important considering I drive this everyday in Jersey traffic
. It is even steadier on the highway at 70mph. I will try to get some pics up soon if anyone is interested. Definitely a worthwhile improvement if you want a more level ride.

I did the same thing with mine this past summer. Made a HUGE difference in the turns. Those springover turns could get a bit hairy.
I ended up welding the brackets on the frame instead of drilling and bolting.
For the quick disconnects, I bought a set of tabs from CRL Customs and welded them onto the spring plates. (click on products, then fab parts, then fab tabs(tab-19) Then I got 2 large shoulder bolts from work and just used nylock nuts. For wheeling, I carry the wrench and allen key I need to take the lower bolt off, then swing the entire swaybar, with endlinks attached, up and over toward the front bumper and hook a bungie cord on it. Works fine, and only takes a minute longer than the regular quick disconnects.

Hey Bill, yeah I pretty much went with the same setup as you used but made my own frame brackets as the CJ ones hung too low for me. I saw where you mentioned a swap meet coming up after Christmas for the BMJA? Got any more details? I might try to make the drive out there for that.
