The driver's side seat had ripped one bolt out and had slightly torn the tub at the other bolt location. My fix was to get a rubber mat and set it under the seat frame. Then I took some unistrut flat connectors (just a stout piece of metal 6" long with pre drilled holes in it) and set them perpindicular to the seat frame. Then I took a grade 8 1/2" bolt and washers and bolted the seat fram to the tub. The other bolt bolted back into the factory hole/nut asembly in the tub. See the pic.

What about rust issues underneith the rubber mat? Did you use any rust inhibitors?

yes, but I don't know if it will be good enough. some kind of copper stuff
