How big (vertical drop) do they make dropped pitman arms?? 6"-8"?

How big (vertical drop) do they make dropped pitman arms?? 6\"-8\"?

I need a dropped pitman arm around thge 7-8" range...do they make these? I am finishing up my spring over and it appears that I am going to nedd that length to get the correct clearence. oh yeah...for a 83 cj-7. stock steering gear box.

Hello, you will not find a 7 or 8inch drop. That would be excessive. I'm having the same problem with my soa. You need to check out full-traction.com , It is the same company that manufactures steering components for suzuki samari. Calmini says they will be making the components for cj's sometime by the end of jan. 2000. Give them a call and ask for steve. They are looking for all the input they can get. They already have a set-up for Tjs and Yjs but are having trouble with the cjs because of all the different drivetrains people are using. They're system uses a stock pitman arm. It is truly an awesome set-up. Check it out!
