Hi, I have a '83 ATC185s, and was wondering if there is any way i can get more power out of it, mostly just low-end, I thought about gearing it up, but I don't want to affect the top-end because it has a hard time keeping up with everything else i ride with the way it is on long flat staights, but more power anywhere wouldn't hurt, also does anyone here have any thought's or opinion's om this trike? mine has been extremely reliable, and thrive's on steep rocky hill's, although it took awhile to get used to after riding dirtbike's for so long, I'm on the look out for a more powerful fully suspended machine though, a ATC350X would be sweet!!

I had one of these along time ago. I started on an '81 Honda 70 @5, '82 185s @8, '85 250sx @ 12, '85 350x @14, and '93 Banshee @23. Im 24 now.

I remember somone i knew hopped one up to a 200cc, and said it was improved, how much i dont remember. If i were you, id sell it and step up to another bike. THe 350x is a great bike right out of the box.

Ya, but the big problem is that a "good" 350X around here goes for around $1,700, and for Not much more I think I could probally get an early model Yamaha Warrior, or maybe a wolverine, a banshee would be nice, but around here most of the riding I do is trail riding, so i think the wrrior or wolverine would be a better choice, I've thought about boreing it out to 200cc, but I'm not sure if this in any way would hurt reliblty, Anybody know where I can find pic's of early model quad's? and trike's? Thanxz
