That's the alternator based tig right? The simplicity inspired me to convert my AC stick welder to DC and try tig. I like it. I'm currently welding stainless tubing and making some groovy modern furniture. Coffee table and end tables. Lots of fun and plenty of challenge with tig. Works real good on steel tubing as well. I'm limited to around 125 amps, but that makes nice looking welds on 1/8 max materials.
