Some one had posted a webpage on how to build a rear tire carrier.
It had the Skematics on how to build it with greasable bushings and a lockable latch. I have a friend that will build one for me but he needs the skematics to know how to build the bushing and latch.
Thanks

For what it's worth. The Jeep stuff has moved to www.sleeoffroad.com/old_web

I now have spindle assemblies for sale. $90 plus shipping. Ok this sounds like a lot, but it includes a 1.75" spindle, both top and bottom taper bearings, the grease seal, dust cap. But best of all it includes a custom machined hub that accepts the bearings, seal etc. and is ready for fabrication. All you have to do, is cut the hole for the spindle, weld that into the bumper and then weld the arm onto the hub.

Email for more details. Pictures to follow soon, but it is similar to the design that is listed on my site, but the spindle is twice as thick, and the hub is machined and not two pieces of tube welded together.

Thanks for the info.
I will try to get pictures of the fabrication and finised product.
Also where did you get the latches for the swing arm?
