I'm fabbing up some spring perches for my rear axle swap. Does anyone know what size hole is used in the perch for the spring centering pin? I don't have the stock axle pulled yet or I could just measure that. This is on a 1980 CJ7 with 2-1/2 " lift. It is a narrow trac now and I'm going to Waggie width.

let's see, can't you just measure the size of head of the spring pin, drill the hole that size, and presto just like magic it should fit.

I bought Rancho springs and the centering pin was larger than the stock size, so I had to redrill the perches. Don't take this size as gospel, but I believe it was 9/16" on the Rancho's. The point is that it appears that some manufacturors have used different size heads on the centering pins. Better measure, unless you are using stock springs and someone can tell you.

Same here...I had to drill 9/16" holes for my 2" lift Superlift leaf springs.
