It might cost a few bucks, but call "Jet Hot". They do ceramic coatings for headers and such in different colors (black & silver I think). They have a 5 year gaurantee on rust for headers so I'd imagine this would work for a Hi-Lift. Only problem is, I don't know how it would hold up to frequent use. Call them and ask. I can't find the number but maybe someone else can help.

here's their website, as far as I can tell, it's the official one... http://www.goracing.com/jethot/index.html
Hope they have what you want, I believe they have a phone number and other contact information. Good Luck!!!

I've been carrying the same hi-lift on the front bumper of my CJ7 since 1985, it's kinda rusty, but I spray WD40 on the important (moving) parts frequently. Still works just fine, and it's a tool so is it really important what it looks like?

I wonder how many farmers and construction workers even bother to put it back up. Most I saw was laying under the toolbox covered in mud and grease.

4x4Joe,
Hear you - no need to shout (capslock).
Anyways, ARB sell a HiLift bag & I've seen people use these to help protect the just from the elements.
Cheers

I have a Hi-Lift cover I'll sell you. Its brand new, still in the box, I only took it out once to see what it looked like. Its black, and says "Hi-Lift" on one side.
Email me at [email protected]

First $15 takes it
