I have an 84 scrambler with the GM151 4 cylinder. It started idling at about 2000 rpm a month or two ago. I think the fast idle cam is getting stuck or something. I can manually nudge the fast idle cam down and the idle drops to 1000 rpm. Any ideas why the fast idle cam sticks?? I tried WD-40 and no change. Thanks

Try some spray carb cleaner. The Rochester 2SE carb that you have is the same type that is on my 86 XJ with the GM 2.8L V-6. That usually works for me. Good Luck!!/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
