I've just located the wire with the grey connector that is said to be the High elevation wire. My question is how to hook this up and where would this wire be on a 4 cylinder 94 model? Mine is a 89 6 cylinder and it is in the engine compartment near the MAP sensor.

There should be a convenient place to ground this wire, because vehicles sold in high altitude locations will have this wire grounded by the dealer. The factory took this into account when they built your jeep, so there should be a place to ground that the wire will reach. I believe it should go to the engine block but I'm not sure. Any fuel injected motor, such as in a 94, does not need this as the system will self compensate. CTjeepnut
