Hey Guys, nice to see all the nice comments and stuff about the diamondtred work I've been doing and selling on ebay (under username benjamin401.) I have a great time making this stuff and its cool to see people enjoying it as much as I like making it!!! As some of y'all have noticed, it doesn't make me a bunch of money but you know? Money isn't what makes you happy. The stuff helps me pay the bills and buy icecream and stuff and thats what life's about. And one guy was talking about how I make the panels...YUP its all by hand with jigsaws, sanders, and a milwaukee 12v drillset, etc. I get all my ss hardware from the local Home Depot, and my 3/16" diamondtred in 4x8' sheets that I carry home tied to the top of my '88 sammy from a place called E.J. Enterprises up in Glen Burnie MD. So thanks for the good feedback and the sales!!! Benj. Burch

You can check e-bay for his products. They start out with Suzuki Samurai then what it is. Make sure you look for his name in the seller spot because their is another seller out there. As far as I know he makes Rockers panels, targa bar plate, interior door panels, interior rear panels, a cover for the rear to make it storage, glove box doors, interior tail gate cover.
He is real good with his service and you can return it if you are not satisified. I think he will even do cutom work if you asked. I have bought the targe plate, rear interior wheel well panels and just won the rocker panels this morning. He is even making them custom for me. Seems to be a great guy with great service.

Don't force it, just get a bigger hammer.

Yup, you can find all my stuff with an ebay search "suzuki sam* MET*"; all my auctions start with "suzuki samurai METAL (item name)." I sortof post new auctions when I have time to make stuff. Some stuff sells well, some is real slow. Mostly the auction items revolve week to week so if something isn't happening one week, check the next. Thanks to those who have bought my stuff and enabled my cats to eat the very best catfood. They send their thanks as well. :) Later guys.....

Welcome to the Board. I've also heard a lot of good things about your stuff. As you can see, word gets around, so positive feedback is essential. Keep up the great work.

Yep, I've bid on them as well but haven't won any YET! I'm sure that someday I'll be able to get some of your nice work! Hey, just an idea...What if you just sold your stuff off the e-bay thing and sale it for a set price? Take the avg. winning bid and make that your price to sale the stuff you make. Or just take the cost of it and set the price about $10-15 more and make some $$$ that way you can buy the best food for your cats for life! Just an idea? I'm sure that you've thought of it before? Hope I win a bid on some of your stuff soon! Later!

About time, Ben!

Hello Ben,

Glad to see that you made it to the BBS! You'll meet quite a few really great people here, as well as have access to volumes of Suzuki information.

You also have a new arena to display and market your goods. These folks here are the ones who really want your products. Good luck with that.

How to see you here often, and welcome aboard!

BTW, I own a complete D/P interior from Ben and absolutly love the stuff. Best D/P interior on the market, IMHO.

Hey Ben, I have had some problems with the black plastic trim rings around the window cranks spliting because of the thickness of the door panels. Have you run into anyone else experiencing this same problem? I have tried using both used and brand new trim rings and they all seem to crack and split after a couple months. I even tried heating them slightly to relieve some of the pressure of being squashed between the window crank and door panel with no luck as well. Do you have any other trim ring that would work in place of the stock Samurai ones? I would really like to have something there because the trim rings keep dirt and water out of my doors while wheeling and spraying the inside of my doors off.

YUP same thing happened on my doors... the little plastic trim circles around the window wind-ups cracked and died. What I'm doing is looking at really thin aluminum replacements.... but they won't keep dirt and water out of there either. Another thought is a rubber o-ring, big enuf to seal between the winder and the panel. If I solve this one, I'll mail free ones to anyone who bought doorpanels from me and wants 'em. anyone else have any ideas?
