Hello all you hell raisin ATVers!
I have a 2000 Warrior I'm getting ready to drag it this summer. I have some ques for the Exsperts out there with this kinda stuff! Should I go with a alky carb if so what kind and how big "Note" Warrior stock carb is 36 Mikuni" Or should I stay with a gasoline carb? What are the best sand paddle tires to buy for drag racing in sand? Titanium Valve springs or Performance Dual Springs (Aluminum retainers). What kind of Racing Cam? FMF Performax pipe or White Brothers? How could I get my swing-arm exstended or should I not and if so how much "inches")?! K&N filter or UNI filter?

Why use a warrior?
You can literally spend $1000's to make that Warrior run and it will still get beat by a 250R or Banshee. Why not build or buy a drag bike and use the warrior to tow it on the track.

FST's 500 kit. It's 2500 for them to do the work and just under 2000 for just the parts. They say it's in the 80 to 90 mph range.

I picked up a cam from MEGACYCLE CAMS, it is part# 252x1for Yamaha 250TT 350Warrior. Specs. as follows: Timing at .040lift 276deg. duration, valve lift .450 ,major mid and topend. Had a 435kit installed and did some fireroads with the big cam, and man it is a screamer. I switched to a web genneral improvement cam, the otherone didnt have enough bottomend for the kind of rideing that I do now. But for a drag racer it would rock!!! If you can find Titanium valves, let me know, post a reply or e-mail me, thanks.

Don't mess with that small engine!!! Put a street bike engine in it and get it over with!!!!!
