I'm trying to build a large thread on this topic on the Toyota board (which I'll link here). I saw that Interco is coming out with a couple of new sizes (34X10.50 & 31X11.50 in the TSL line) that'll be imported from India. It seems to me that there are some potentially useful sizes that are missing from their line (especially the Bogger line). So, I'd like everyone to nominate a potential new size (be sure to specify the "style" you want) and/or vote on everyone else's nominees. Once we've reached a concensus on the "most deserving" size, we can collectively write to Interco (I have the address, which I'll later publish) asking for that size. Even if you don't plan to write, have some fun in the "vote".
I'd like to see a 34x9.50 Bogger.
I'll never have enough power to turn the wider versions so a narrower version would work out pretty good. I don't know what the tread would look like but I think it would be interesting.
Tall -- skinny --- radial and a little more than just moderately useful on the highway, but VERY VERY good on non mud trails. Acceptable in the mud. A 34, 35 or 36 (preferably a "real 35") x 15 and/or 16 in a 9.5 or 10.5.
Keep 'em coming. I've set up a spreadsheet with all the sizes suggested so far & the number of votes for each. No general concensus at this point, but narrower Boggers in the Sub-36" sizes appear to be the leading candidates so far.
Hey- I want a 33x15.5 TSL. a 31x15.5 TSL would be nice too for those Jeeps with v-8s and stock suspensions. Only Mickey Tompson makes this range of tire...and his wear WAY too fast on the road.
I wanna see a 36x14.50r15 TSL/SX's for my Delivery, only a few more pay checks away from a trip to Olympic 4x4 Supply, and a set of chevy springs, and a buch of other stuff, fun...
