Wow.

Welcome.

I have seen alot of Jeepster's.

I believe you should be able to modify your rig however you want and I respect that.

So please take no offence....

You need a life size barbie to go with.;)

Welcome

Nice lookin Convertible. Who ever mounted that top did a nice job. Does it have a roll bar under the top? I ask because mounting the top is coming up soon on my task list and I think I may have to chop the roll bar to get the frame to work. Any how, welcome to the club!!!!

Regards,
Gary

The main thing...that I do like about this Jeepster...is...the level it sits at?

Can you tell me what has been done to the suspension????

Someday...whether I lift my Jeepster a inch, or a thousand inches...I'd like for it to end up with the level to the ground ratio, as this Jeepster.

Thank you

When I use the word "level" I mean "angle."
So is there a way to get a standard measurment of ground/body angle, on this Jeepster?

as far as the drivetrain...
i know it's got the 225 v6 dauntless engine
and the th400 auto transmission
with the dana 20 transfer case
but i haven't checked out the axles yet or gears
i'm just getting started really
right now i'm getting the wipers working along with the heat
very important stuff here in michigan
i'll take some pics today

weird...
i don't know the total history of this one
but that's definitely something i noticed about it
it does have a "hot rod" stance
looks like the front end is lower than the back ???
i was thinking of straightening that out eventually
maybe lifting it just a touch
but i'm not sure about that yet
i do wanna get rid of those rims !!!
yuk ! very miami beach :smirk:

Hi Chris...welcome!
I still have my iggy, sex pistols, bowie, the tubes, and stooges albums from loooong ago.
Say, amongst the stooges, Iggy, and company....would you mind doing me a favor please, being, I am looking for a copy of an albumn tittled, "The Pink Fairies". I think they were based out of San Fran back in the late '60's. About the same time as the stooges. One whole side of the Pink Faires albumn had their version of pipeline on it.

I realize this is a long shot but may be I will luck out someday and find a copy.:D

Played drums and keyboard for years.

Jim:

Never heard of them, but according to this: Pink Fairies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, says they're Brits, assuming it's the same group you're thinking of. Says they were active from 1970-1976; 1987-1988.

Lots of albums, (CD's), still available from here: Amazon.com: The Pink Fairies: Music, but didn't see Pipeline on the ones that listed the tunes. The Wikipedia site has all their albums listed with links detailing the songs on them. The album "What a Bunch of Sweeties" shows "Walk Don't Run," (a Ventures original, as is Pipeline), as a bonus track. Could that be what you're thinking of?

The Ventures "Walk Don't Run" YouTube - The Ventures - Walk Don't Run

"Pipeline" YouTube - VENTURES play PIPELINE 1966 Japan

"Wipeout" YouTube - The Ventures - Wipe Out (1984)

Thanks Tim

your are correct....I forget to use the internet. For awhile, a member of our band had a older brother in England that worked in the record industry and he would send us albums before they hit the USA market, thus givng us a chance to learn songs and learn whats going on in the music field before many other U.S bands did. This must be where I got the Pink Fairies album from. Sadly most of my album collection was stolen, which is why I was asking about the group. Sorry Chris if I was out of line in requesting your help. I could almost bet that some of the people you know I have jammed with back in the day.
