sounds like a bad ass truck, cant whate to see some pics

how hard is it to reposishon the rear shocks like that?, and whats the advantge of the ford springs? more flex?

 

Yeah It is definatly a nice truck last I remember He was running 40s, with a 400 SBC, TH400, 241, Dana 60? and 14FF. Its a shortbox truck too.

Shoot Matt I thought you feel off the face of the earth or somethin, way to go on the 454, how are you liking that?

 

the 57" ford springs are longer and WAY softer if i remember correct. You get a TON of flex out of them.

 

Here are some pics. My 57" f-150 springs are too soft for 450 HP I guess and axle wrap really bad after testing them this weekend. I'm gonna leave the flip and take some leaves out of a set of 1-ton 56" 1-ton springs and try them.

well, I ripped the steering gear off the frame again last weekend. Fixed it already but that is the 2nd time. I even have both the weld on and bolt on brace kits. Anyways, I got some more pics but gotta get time to upload them. Long gone is the day of the pretty and car washs, not its the play truck and fire hoses to wash it off.
