Has any one installed NP231 slip yoke eliminator?

I have a bent output shaft so i need to replace it anyway. I might as well do it right. My question is can the output shaft be removed and replaced without removing the whole transfer case. Also I'm looking at all the different kits, I think I want to get one that comes with the new driveshaft. Can anyone recommend a good one.

I don't have any experience installing one, I have a CJ, but most of the people around here are using the MIT kit, the shaft is supposedly stronger. Just my 2 cents.

What is the MIT kit? Where can I get it, what does it consist of, and how much $$$.

MIT--Mechanically Inclined Technicians. The address and phone number is under a post earlier this week about 231 slip yokes.
