Hart and Huntington Off Road Returns From Las Vegas With 5 Podium Finishes
The Lucas Oil Off Road Series concluded the first leg of the 2010 season at Las Vegas Motorspeedway's very exciting short course track with style. The racing was hot and heavy with the sports fiercest racers attempting everything they could to establish class dominance, collect points, and take home victories. *Make sure to check out included Video Highlight reel.

New race cars, drivers in unfamiliar trucks, and up and coming drivers going all out, LOORRS Rounds 5 & 6 was full drama, unpredictability and stories that would underline the weekend. Lucas Oil's star driver Carl Renezeder, debuted a new Pro 4 Unlimited and came through with an amazing win coming from behind all the way in the back of the field to fight his way up to a 1st place victory. SuperCross legend Jeremy "Showtime" McGrath was invited to drive a new to him Pro 4 (McGrath has been piloting a Pro 2) and amazingly enough, was 2nd fastest during Round 5 Qualifying. Driving for Rockstar Energy, X Games Gold Medalist, Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg drove his SuperLite to two podium finishes and actually won Round 6. Very impressive for having only drove once before during the 2009 Rockstar Energy Challenge Cup.

For the Hart and Huntington Off Road Team, the story of the weekend was the ongoing battle to secure points and institute an onslaught of Hart and Huntington Off Road fury throughout the divisions of short course racing. The San Manuel Wolf Pack also known as the Hart and Huntington Trophy Kart Team kicked off the weekend with Brandon Vermillion picking up a 3rd place finish during the Kart Modified's Round 5 Race. Brandon has shown that he can fly his #585 Kart with impressive consistency and battle with the fastest drivers in the class.

Hart and Huntington SuperLite Driver Chad Leising, arrived at Vegas sitting firmly 2nd in points. His independent program was on the fence about even competing for this event. The drive to compete and a last minute race prep set up whirl-wind of pit thrashing to overcome a number of issues that plagued the #17 SuperLite all weekend. It all paid off on the last lap during Round 6 with Chad taking 3rd. Starting from 11th, Leising was able to limp up through the field, staying consistent and capitalizing when it counted, Chad made the pass coming out of the last corner on to the straight away for the podium. After the race podium commentary had Chad describing how the race ended, "The truck was hurting on the last lap in 6th place. I was able to buckle it down and push as hard as the truck would go. I was basically driving out of control to make something happen. We are going to go home and work hard to fix this thing."

Light Truck Specialist Chris Brandt, has had his hands full with a solid field of competition in the ProLite Class. Leading the division as the most consistent driver, the #82 Mav TV Toyota has always been a threat. Everyone wants a piece and when Brandt was dealt a bad hand running a back up motor, several of his competitors were able to thin out the points lead. Round 6, Chris came back with some gusto and drove a clean race finishing 3rd giving him enough edge to retain the points lead.

John Fitzgerald has shown total domination in the Limited Buggy Division since he arrived on the scene. During the 2010 opening Rounds at Las Vegas, Fitz drove the #314 for back to back wins. The podium streak ended at the last event in Surprise where Fitzgerald had a run of bad luck. Thirsty for redemption Fitz came back to Las Vegas and not only swept the weekend again, John also collected the fastest lap times in both races, Qualified 1st for Round 5 and 2nd for Round 6. To date John Fitzgerald has brought home all of the LOORRS Las Vegas 1st place trophies in his division.

The Hart and Huntington Pro2 and Pro4 programs have seen steady improvements with both Carey Hart and Josh Merrell progressing with their driving abilities. Mechanical issues however, are part of the off road racing lifestyle. Luckily our good friends Bill Smith from Pro Fab and big Bill Schlieper with the whole Pro Power crew were always hard at work getting things started. Look for our big trucks on the podium some time soon.

The Hart and Huntington Premiere Motorsports Group is often the place for many of the sports participants to come and take a break, grab some food, and you never know who you might be rubbing elbows with. At Las Vegas, PMG hosted many guests including Freestyle MX Badboy Todd Potter and Jarrod & Darci Gutierrez from Flawless Vodka. We are always glad to welcome Totally Off Road Radio host and live play by play commentators Dave Arnold & Jim Holthus.

Robert Wilson from Magnaflow Exhaust Systems. Wilson being a big supporter of many forms of motorsports, witnessed the hard work and tireless efforts coming from the Hart and Huntington crew members. Impressed with the Teams dedication, Robert offered up a complete Magnaflow Exhaust as an incentive to the hardest working team member. Team Manager Scot Demmer awarded to head fabricator Steve Drew the 2008 AMA Supermoto Champion.

In a never ending effort to step up the program, and support the Hart and Huntington Team Partners, Ryan Busnardo has positioned Premiere Motorsports Group as the major retailer of Baileigh Industrial Equipment in the Southern Californian region. Baileigh Industrial manufactures the world's finest metal fabrication equipment and sponsors a variety of motorsports from Nascar to even more elite levels. Baileigh Industrial Company executives came out to Las Vegas to witness the intense action of the Lucas Oil Off Road Series. What is extremely noteworthy is that this is the very first motorsport event they have attended. Busnardo commented on the partnership coming full circle. "Baileigh Industrial is a great Race Partner for the Hart and Huntington Off Road Team. Stephan Nordstrom has taken a special interest in Off Road Short Course Racing and is working in very unique ways to our team. The relationship has become mutually beneficial and we are all very excited."
