What is the deal with the light under the hood? I am thinking he added that, because I have never seen one before.

I think the light came out of a 60's Pontiac I have one just like it that came out of a 1963 Bonneville, The light comes out of the holder and has a spool of wire in it so you can take it all around the vehicle then roll it up when you are done

Had one of those light on my GMC truck until one day while changing the belt....started up the engine.....ZING!!! No more light!!!
